Ilia Chavchavadze Center for European Studies and Civic Education held a movie screening and discussion on the issues of citizenship and justice. In particular, within the framework of project “Youth for justice”, Jessie Nelson’s film “I Am Sam” (USA, 2001) was shown at the Gori Center for Civic Engagement. 

Project of the Chavchavadze Center “Youth for Justice” is led by the founder of the Chavchavadze Center, lawyer and publicist, Zaza Bibilashvili. GDI’s Nino Eremashvili, leader of Georgian Democracy Initiative’s civic education effort spoke to the audience as an invited guest. A lively discussion ensued.
