On September 10 and 11, representatives of the Chavchavadze Center had a meeting with civil activists and representatives of academics in the region within the framework of the Project “Common Sense: Civil Society vis-à-vis Politics”. At the beginning of the meeting, the Director of the Center Nino Kalandadze spoke about the project, followed by a discussion with Zaza Bibilashvili on the topic “Common Sense and Citizenship – Georgian Society Facing New Challenges”. Art critic David Bukhrikidze read a report on topic “The Role of Culture and Education and Georgia’s European Choice”. The second part of the event was dedicated to session of Professor Mariam Gersamia: “Media Psychology and the Art of Debate” and training by the Center’s fellow Lika Sanikidze on Project Financing and Donor Relations.
