Series of meetings with UNM chairmanship candidates

In preparation of intra-party elections in the United National Movement, the Chavchavadze Center and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation South Caucasus Bureau are holding a series of meetings with the party's chairmanship candidates. Within the framework, the contenders for the chairmanship shared information about their perspectives to the interested public on the party's development as well as current domestic and international political challenges.

The meeting series started on January 24, with a session with Levan Khabeishvili. The event was attended by representatives of IRI, the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, the Franklin Club, the Center for Strategic Dialogue, EECMD, policy researchers as well as students.

The series of meetings is intended to foster greater actualization of the subject of intra-party democracy in Georgia, as well as to allow the candidates to share their vision regarding the party's future with civil society, academia and young people interested in politics
