Young Diplomats Club Hosts Panel panel discussion on European Commission’s 9 Key Recommendations for Georgia’s EU Membership Bid

On December 1st, the Young Diplomats Club of Georgia held a panel discussion focused on the 9 priority areas defined by the European Commission in its official opinion on Georgia's application for European Union membership. Zaza Bibilashvili, Korneli Kakachia and Iago Katchkatchishvili took part in the panel discussion. 

Panelists emphasized the critical importance of combating anti-Western propaganda and disinformation to maintain public faith in the strategic benefits of eventual EU inclusion. The panel stressed that fully implementing reforms comes down to political will and social cohesion. After the panelist speeches, the speakers welcomed audience perspectives and questions in an open dialogue.
