Master classes of the Chavchavadze Center were held in Kutaisi

On 12th and 13th of October Ilia Chavchavadze Center for European Studies and Civic Education held master classes in Kutaisi under the aegis of its innovative project on civic engagement: “Common Sense: Civil Society vis-à-vis Politics”.

Founder of the Chavchavadze Center Zaza Bibilashvili, Director of the Center Nino Kalandadze, Senior Fellow of the Center Prof. Mariam Gersamia and Founder of Georgian Democracy Initiative Giorgi Mshvenieradze, led the master classes in Kutaisi.

Following the sessions, discussions on topical issues were held between the participants gathered at the Center for Civic Engagement, as well as simulated debates and brief public speaking training. At the end of the training, the participants were awarded with certificates.

The civic engagement Project is being implemented with the support of Konrad Adenauer South Caucasus Foundation, gradually, in every region of Georgia.
