On July 9, the Chavchavadze Center organized a webinar on Empowerment of Women Journalists and Media Diversity. With this webinar, the Chavchavadze Center summarized the project, which included trainings and discussions for journalists.

At the webinar, Mariam Gersamia, Media Psychologist, full professor at Tbilisi State University (TSU), spoke on gender stereotypes and Media. Media researcher, TSU Associate Professor Maia Toradze presented the study "Voices of Female Journalists and the Challenges of Gender Equality". Finally, gender researcher, TSU Associate Professor Medea Badashvili spoke about the challenges of gender coverage in Mass Media.

The webinar was attended by representatives of academia and wider public, students and journalists. A lively online discussion followed the speeches.
