On November 4, the Chavchavadze Center held a practical training course on countering disinformation and propaganda.
The event, held at the University of Georgia and supported by the NATO Public Diplomacy Division, was organized within the framework of the Chavchavadze Center’s project “On the Frontline - Countering Disinformation in Georgia”. It brought together 30 individuals of different ages and professions.
During the training, Center’s researchers and invited experts spoke with participants on methods of identifying and effectively countering disinformation in daily, real life settings. Participants received a practical guidebook about countering disinformation - the Center’s latest publication prepared especially for this project.
At the end of the long and productive day, simulation games summed up the takeaways from the course, and the attendees received certificates of participation.
Center’s team thanks the University of Georgia for hosting!
