Movie Screening and Discussion in Telavi

On March 28, another movie screening and discussion on the issues of citizenship and justice was held in Telavi. Zaza Bibilashvili, a founder of Chavchavadze Center, lead the discussion among high school students. Our invited guest was Ani Khurtsidze, a dean of law faculty at the Georgian University and a founder of "Gnomon Wise". The audience viewed a 2007 film named Katyń by Andrzej Wajda. After the screening of the movie, the discussions were held and the most active students were given the books as a gift from Chavchavadze Center.

It has already been three years since the project “Youth for Justice with Zaza Bibilashvili” is being held by the Chavchavadze Center with the support of Dutch Fund D66 and IDI. During this time, dozens of Movie Screening and Discussion events have been held in the regions of and educational institutions of Georgia. Within the framework of the project, the Center cooperates with the higher educational institutions, private and public schools, and local non-governmental organizations.
