Intra-party Democracy and 2020 Parliamentary Elections - Online Discussion

“Intra-party Democracy and 2020 Parliamentary Elections” was the topic of an online discussion hosted by the Chavchavadze Center on September 22. Following presentations by the founder of the Center Zaza Bibilashvili, Director of the Center Nina Kalandadze and our senior fellow Gia Japaridze, academics, students, civil society representatives and several members of various political parties partook in a lengthy discussion. The event was moderated by Mariam Gersamia, who leads the Center’s current study on the needs of intra-party democracy amongst Georgian political parties.

The event was held within the framework of “Agora Discussion Club”, which is aimed at promoting active citizenship, providing a platform to youth leaders and empowering civic activists.
