Film screening and discussion at Tsikhisdziri Public School

On May 27, another movie screening was held at the Tsikhisdziri Public School in the village of Tsikhisdziri, Municipality of Mtskheta. At the event, the participants viewed a documentary film "Tskhinvali 1920", directed by Mikheil Basiladze, and produced by the Georgian Institute for Security Policy.

After the movie screening, Zaza Bibilashvili, founder of the Chavchavadze Center, led the discussion. Our invited guest speaker this time was a historian, archaeologist and linguist Iulon Gagoshidze. After the discussion, the most active students were given books as a gift from te Chavchavadze Center.

It has already been three years since the project “Youth for Justice with Zaza Bibilashvili” is being carried out by the Chavchavadze Center with the support of he Dutch D66 and IDI. During this time, dozens of screening and discussions have been held in various regions and educational institutions of Georgia. Within the framework of the project, the Center cooperates with higher educational institutions, private and public schools as well as local non-governmental organizations.
