Knowing your Friends - Bridging the Knowledge Gap for Georgia's EU Path is a project implemented by the Ilia Chavchavadze Center for European Studies and Civic Education, funded by the Civil Society Foundation ( CSF ) through its EU Integration Program. The project aims to address the lack of public awareness about EU assistance to Georgia and counter misconceptions about its beneficiaries. Over a four-month period, the project will develop a comprehensive knowledge base on EU aid, create multimedia educational materials in Georgian, Armenian, and Azeri languages, and disseminate this information through various channels, including social media and through various channels. By partnering with local organizations the project will reach marginalized communities, including ethnic minorities and rural populations. The initiative seeks to foster informed public discourse, mobilize support for Georgia's EU integration efforts, and counter disinformation campaigns orchestrated by anti-European forces, particularly in light of Georgia's recent EU candidate status.
