The Chavchavadze Center is pleased to announce the release of our new study “The Time to Gather Stones - Overcoming Georgia’s Two-party Divide”

On December 14, at the Radisson Blu Iveria, the Chavchavadze Center presented its new research study: “The Time to Gather Stones - Overcoming Georgia’s Two-party Divide”. The presentation of the findings and recommendations of the study was tailored for Georgian civil society representatives. Key questions explored in the study include: What should the existing or new political parties do to appeal to undecided voters? Is there space for a viable “third force” in Georgian politics? The goal of this research is to help Georgian political parties to respond better to voters’ needs, overcome existing challenges and move beyond the established two-party dichotomy.

The study was presented by its authors: Nino Kalandadze, Zaza Bibilashvili, Giorgi Kharebava and Giga Jokhadze, as well as the CRRC researcher Givi Silagadze. Stephan Malerius, the head of the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation’s South Caucasus Bureau, opened the event. Professor Davit Aprasidze of the Ilia State University moderated the discussion.
